Martini is an OTTB who is 6 yrs old, 16.1h Dark bay gelding. He came off the track as a 3yr old with a bowed tendon. He only had 11 starts on the track and is now ready to start a new career. He has had a lot of ground work, been on a few trail rides (which he loved) and has worked out most of the bad track habits. He has had a couple dressage lessons last year but has not been ridden much this year due to his owner's back injury. He is a sweet boy who really wants to please and he loves attention!! He is an easy loader, ties well and he is good with the farrier. He is in good health, UTD on worming, vaccinations and hoof care. Due to his bowed tendon he will never be able to jump but he is sound and can do flat work and dressage. He requires a fair amount of food to keep his weight good but as long as he gets it he is an easy keeper. He would need an intermediate or experienced rider. Nice horse that really needs a new job and his own person! Adoption contract, site visit, and references required.
