Biscotti was born on the morning of May 12, 2008. His dam, Hope, was one of the horses seized from Jean Elledge by King County Animal Control. Hope came to us in late February 2008—severely underweight, riddled with parasites and lice, and covered in rainrot. Fortunately, Scotti was born strong and healthy.
Scotti has been a delight since the day he was born. Fearless and friendly, he took an immediate liking to his human caretakers. He was weaned from his dam on October 17, and now spends his days in the company of fellow weanlings, Ariel and Kayo.
Biscotti's dam Hope is a registered black and white pinto Saddlebred named Acquiescence, who was sired by Kabuki. Scotti's sire was Seas the Golden Day, a cremello stallion who died in the care of Jean Elledge.
Scotti was gelded on December 6, 2008 and is recovering very well from the procedure!
