We’re working on finding out who Walker really is and where he came from. Laura Bavin of Perth, West Australia has submitted paperwork to New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing to have Walker’s tattoos researched. Laura kindly donated the $25 fee for this request, so we thank her for that!

Laura also pointed out that since Walker was born in New Zealand in 1993, he’s actually only 17 years old. That’s because in the Southern Hemisphere the official birthday for all TBs is August 1 and their foals crops are born between August and October. So Walker isn’t quite as old as we thought he was. How’s that for good news?
