We received an update from Catherine on July 31st:
We said goodbye to Butters this morning. Though her spirits were as bright as ever, her hind end was weakening and unsteady.
She was so very happy to get to amble and munch allllll the dewy, green grass today.
Butters’ passing was quick and easy. She will rest here at her home at Griffinwood, and live in our hearts for always.
Thank you to SAFE for entrusting us with Butters. She has been a blessing and a bright light in our lives.
