We are very happy to announce that we’ve found a new home base for Save a Forgotten Equine. The lease has been signed, and we move into our new home on July 1.
The new SAFE facility is located in the Hollywood Hills area of Woodinville. There is a newer six stall barn with attached all weather paddocks. Another five stalls, four with attached paddocks, run along one side of the large covered arena. There’s also a large outdoor sand arena, various grass pastures, and a few separate shelters with paddocks. Plenty of room for hay storage, tack storage and equipment storage. All in all, it’s a lovely property and we are so excited to move in on July 1.
Our new headquarters will allow us to provide daily handling and training for up to 12 horses on site. That means we need to ramp up our volunteer program to help care for the horses. In particular, we are looking for volunteers to feed and do farm chores on weekdays. If you’re interested in getting involved as a volunteer at SAFE’s Woodinville facility, our volunteer coordinator Debi is very interested in talking to you! Contact her at volunteer@safehorses.org for more information.
We’re planning an open house on Sunday July 22 to allow our friends and supporters to come visit the horses in their new home, so mark the day on your calendar and plan to come by!
How exciting! And close (to me, anyway).
Hooray!!! I am so excited for this amazing opportunity to bring the SAFE horses and organization closer to the public eye.

CONGRATS
Your new place looks wonderful and you’re so much closer to me now so maybe I can start volounteering a little bit
Congratulations! May the transition be smooth for all of you.
Yea!!! I cannot wait to come to the open house! Well done to the S.A.F.E. organization!
What will happen to all the improvement made to the previous property? Will you be able to move things or recoup the costs? The new property looks great!
We will be removing the majority of our improvements. While some items (like fence posts) are not practical to remove and will be left behind, our new facility includes adequate fencing, therefore we will not incur any additional expense as a result.
Any friend of Honeycutt is a friend of ours! We’d love to have your help, Rosana! Contact our volunteer coordinator Debi at volunteer@safehorses.org, okay?
