Kai left on Tuesday to spend a month in training with Joel Conner, who was recommended to us by Buck Brannaman. Kai made the 3 hour journey to Vancouver WA without a problem (thank you Chris T for hauling him!) and settled in nicely at Joel’s farm. The next day we received this photo of Kai sporting a brand new look, and a report from Joel that Day One was a success and that he’s already quite fond of our big Thoroughbred gelding. Stay tuned for more updates!
What a great shot of Kai!
All the best wishes & hopes
for my favorite “tether ball”
champ!
Cannot wait to meet the big guy 🙂
Is Kai still in Vancouver. Im not far from there and would love to see him. I only ride western and not interested in show or performance. Just natural horsemanship practices with a calm home and trail riding.
Hi Amy, Yes we would love to show you Kai! Please fill out an adoption application here on our site: https://www.safehorses.org/?page_id=650 We can then get into contact with you and set up a time to meet him. Thank you for your interest and look forward to seeing your application!
Hi, I live in the Portland, OR area, and am very interested in Kai. I read that you prefer potential adopters to live in the Western Washington area, but was wondering if there were ever exceptions. Thank you.
