Charmeon is a 13 year old Percheron cross mare, gray, 15 hands and approx. 1400 lbs. Her owner has lost her job and is unable to care for her two horses any more and desperately needs to find Charmeon a home. 

Her current owner has had Charmeon for 5 years and she purcharsed her from a PMU farm which was closing and Charmeon was going to be sent to slaughter. She has good conformation and a beautiful, floating trot. She is halter broke only, is not broke to ride but can be ridden. 

Charmeon is UTD on all routine care including vaccines, dental float September 2009, farrier care and worming.

— She is very gentle, but alert, likes attention and to be groomed, very sweet-natured, does not bite or kick
— Good for vet, ties, trailers, leads well, blankets, good with her feet, wears a fly mask
— Has not been bathed, afraid of fly spray, sharp noises, needs general desensitizing
— Submissive to other horses, can be herdbound
— Wet hay if dusty, give probiotics with wormers
— Requires regular dental floats every 6–12 months
— Does not like to be locked in a stall, used to being out 24x7 in pasture or paddock
