I was at NWESC today dropping off our two new horses and took the opportunity to get some updated photos of Corona. He is looking so much better! He has gained a considerable amount of weight already, his feet look much better, and his injury is looking considerably better. His blanket wasn’t fitting well, so I found a better fitting one for him while I was there. Here are some updated photos! Hi Kim…Bubbles is doing great! She’s in a foster home in Auburn. The young horses are always harder to place. She’ll find a home soon enough!

Has hannah given any indication of whether he will heal completely from his injury?
Hi Sara — yes, Dr. Hannah thinks he will heal just fine. Right now other than antibiotics he just requires twice-daily cleaning and scrubbing, which he tolerates well (a little kicky, but he’s really a good boy considering I am sure it doesn’t feel good!). He should be much better in another week or two of treatment.
Glad to see he’s on the road to recovery and looking better! It just broke my heart to see him how he was. Keep going Rona. 🙂
