A Holly update…
It’s been a while since I’ve let you know how Holly is doing. She is really good! Although, yesterday when I went out to bring horses in I found her on the driveway. The other three horses were still in the pasture. She had jumped the gate, broke the hot wire over the gate and bent the heck out of the gate. She had a couple small scratches was all and very unworried about the whole thing.
Daphne was out today and trimmed Holly’s feet. Daphne told me that the Carnation kids use to jump the barbed wire to get water. Ok, but a five foot hot fence is too much. The water tub was full!
Holly’s feet are looking great and we are working on getting her clipped. She doesn’t seem to mind that at all. I hope to at least bring her to the horse show. Maybe show her in showmanship depending on if we learn enough by then.
Holly is growing and her butt is taller than her front end right now.
