The property is abuzz with staff and volunteers preparing for our annual auction, Heart of the Horse Barn Party, this Saturday, July 23rd. We are excited to host the event on SAFE’s property after holding it virtually the past two years. Even though it’s a sold out event, there is still time to be involved and help support our horses.
Silent auction items are available to bid on and will run until July 24th at noon. Book a trip, bid on beautiful handcrafted items, or even learn how to mix herbal remedies for your horse! Those are just a small handful of amazing items to chose from, check out the full line up here.
Sweethearts of the Rodeo! The horses at SAFE always have our hearts, but this year, they want to know who we love the most.
Twenty-one SAFE horses have been given a chance to become “SweetHearts of the Rodeo.” Pick your favorite horse, then join their team. Teams that bring in the most donations for their horse will win! Our goal is $40,000 and with only 198 donations thus far, we’ve already raised $28,000+. We’re so close! Will you help us spread the word and reach our goal? Pick your team here.
The winning mare will be crowned Rodeo Queen
The winning gelding will be crowned Rodeo King
One special equine will become the Rodeo Clown!

SAFE volunteers, donors, and supporters work hard to change horses’ lives for the better. That’s why we encourage you to help your favorite horse race to the top of the leaderboard! Check back often and help your horse be crowned as a SweetHeart of the Rodeo. The members of the three winning teams will be invited to attend the Sweethearts of the Rodeo coronation ceremony at Safe Harbor Stables in Redmond WA. Date TBD.
