ADOPTED by Laura M of Kenmore WA
Noah came to SAFE via the state of Alaska and in cooperation with our friends at Pony Up Rescue for Equines. Noah’s owner was unable to continue to care for him, and was very concerned that an attempt to rehome him in Alaska would be disastrous for this horse. He was reportedly very well trained, but unfortunately he suffered a suspensory injury about three years ago that never healed properly. Thanks to Dr Hannah Mueller of Northwest Equine Stewardship Center, we were able to provide Noah with a complementary shockwave therapy session to attempting to rehab this horse and bring him back to soundness. Noah is a very kind and personable horse who loves people and is very friendly. Noah was adopted in November 2012 by SAFE volunteer Laura M, a small animal veterinarian, who fell in love with this redheaded gentleman while working at SAFE.
Noah — adopted!
We’d also like to thank Noah’s former owner, who has been supporting Noah with a monthly gift. She has kindly and graciously informed us that she will continue her monthly donation in order to help another SAFE horse. We call that Paying It Forward, and we are very, very grateful that she’s become part of SAFE! Thank you!
