Rob was an older ranch horse rescued from slaughter in 2005. He was placed in a home in CA where he lived out his days until he was humanely euthanized in 2008. His adopter wrote:
“My beautiful friend passed on very quietly and peacefully this morning. As with everything he did he did so with honor, dignity and a sweet gentleness. He choose a morning blessed with sun, birds chirping, his herd — including me — by his side. I was honored to cradle that big beautiful head and more honored he allowed me to. I will hold his spirit in my heart forever. What a horse!! xoxoxoxo Gala”
