Good news! Her MRI went very well and she doesn’t need surgery at this time! She showed some inflammation, which is being treated with a shot of short and long-lasting cortisone and Adequan. It should last about 3–6 months to allow her to continue to be ridden and worked to help stretch out the scar tissue on her suspensory. In 3–6 months, we’ll know more on how she’s progressing. Fingers crossed that we don’t have any lameness issues now and in the future.
We brought her home yesterday and she was very good loading into the trailer (only came out once and then went right back in). She seems more relaxed and happy as well. I’ll update as we start working her again (tomorrow!).

What a great update; Sasha is one of my favorites and its neat to see how far she’s come in her short life.
