Tia’s fecal came back and she was LOADED with worms. 503 Strongyle ova per gram! Even the vet was surprised. I wormed her today with just a half-dose of Ivermectin and am hoping that she doesn’t get sick from the die-off. In a week she will get dosed again with a full dose, and then in a month we will do the Panacur PowerPak.
The eye specialist thinks that we can get her uveitis under control with medications at home, so we will recheck the ulcer in the right eye and reevaluate in a week.
She’s doing well, eating everything we put in front of her and was good for her bandage changing tonight on the right rear pastern with the deeper cut.
