Darla is doing well with her training and continues to show that she is a quick learner and has a lot of try! Darla’s gotten freer with her movements, but still has some work to do getting off her front end and really carrying herself forward. We’ve also been working on developing her soft feel and have started leg yielding. Darla rides confidently in the larger arena, with or without other horses for company. While things can still startle Darla and she’s still nervous around certain types of energy from people, she’s figured out good ways to deal with these circumstances by moving her feet in a balanced way. Darla is proving that she’s a confident and capable riding horse who could be a great fit for a rider who can support her through her occasional nerves and is looking for a true partnership with their horse.
