Our favorite kind of failure is the foster kind. We could not be happier to announce that Trixie has been adopted from her foster home! She’s been spending the last half-year or so living her very best life alongside Alumna Rae, getting completely and utterly doted on on a daily basis by foster-mom (now mom-mom!) Christina. She and Rae have become two peas in a pod, and while Trixie can occasionally lay down a boundary with her young charge, she would just as soon share a meal and a romp. When not grazing, napping, grooming, and playing, Trixie has also been treated to some body work sessions, which she really seems to enjoy. This chestnut mare has truly hit the jackpot in landing a spot in Christina and Kris’s home — er, barn.
