Our Fall Into Winter Feed Drive is in full swing, and so far the response from our wonderful supporters has been terrific! We are nearly half way to our goal of $15,000 by Nov 30…and it’s still October! That is pretty exciting! All the horses at SAFE are very grateful to everyone who has donated so far. Fall Into Winter is their favorite SAFE event, because every single penny that is raised goes towards purchasing hay, grain, and horse treats. If you’ve been thinking of donating to help our horses, this is the best time of year to do so, because this is a donation that goes straight into the horses’ mouths!!
But if that weren’t reason enough to give, now your donation will go twice as far because we have a MATCHING CHALLENGE going on right now!! Our good friend Jane M has pledged a 100% match for the next TEN PEOPLE who donate $100!! So if you can give $100 to buy five bales of hay, or four bags of grain, or heck, even ten bags of horse treats…your donation will be DOUBLED by Jane M! That means TEN bales of hay or EIGHT bags of grain…WOW!!! (Note: we draw the line at twenty bags of horse treats…not even the SAFE horses deserve to be that spoiled!)
