- Whisper
Whisper was a 2 year old grulla filly rescued in December 2008 from an animal cruelty case in the City of Snohomish. Another horse had died on the property and Whisper was near death. Whisper remains the most difficult rescue SAFE has ever dealt with — Whisper literally hung on the edge of life and death for over a month during one of the most brutal winters our area had ever seen, before making a full and complete recovery. Whisper was adopted by Sabra G. of Deming, WA in June of 2009.
